Persons who furnish information leading to an arrest or charges of an offender are offered anonymity and cash rewards. Local law enforcement agencies receive and process information through a special Crime Stoppers telephone manned by a representative of the Great Bend Police Department.
To ensure anonymity, each caller is offered a code number. In addition, rewards of up to $1,000 are paid in cash. The program has expanded to include specific Crime Stoppers Programs in the area middle schools and high schools. Call (620) 792-1300 or (800) 305–1300 with tips.
