The City of Great Bend is responsible for enforcing zoning and subdivision regulation, for properties both in the City of Great Bend and for properties in the three-mile extraterritorial zoning area around the City of Great Bend.

The Great Bend Planning Commission meets regularly on the last Tuesday of each month. All requests and applications for rezoning and/or conditional uses must be submitted.
