Bill Berryman, a member of the community since 1965, is serving his first term as council member for the 1st ward. He has served 3 prior terms for the 2nd ward. Bill is a graduate of Newton High School and Barton County Community College. He and his wife Vicki have two children and two grandchildren. Bill is employed as a Field Service Representative for Midwest Energy. He is past President of the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, Co Chairman of the 3-I Show, 1995 Graduate of the Great Bend Leadership, a member of the Cougar Booster Club, Panther Booster Club, and served on the 4th of July Committee for 4 years.
