Annual Police Play Day

The Great Bend Police Department has celebrated over 20 years of offering an annual Police Play Day to children in the community. The purpose of the program is to allow children a unique opportunity to interact with law enforcement officials in a positive setting. Programs have involved obstacles courses, games, relays, drug and safety awareness, family magic shows, and bicycle safety clinics.
