    Let your little one’s imagination go wild with the “Imagination Playground”. These free membership activities are recommended for children ages 2 and older. All children MUST be accompanied by an adult 18 and older. All adults planning to bring children to this program will need to sign up for a FREE Imagination Playground membership card that they will need to use to attend this program. We will be limiting entry into the gym to twenty-five children. The playground will be set up at the Great Bend Rec Activity Center (2715 18th St.) from 9:30 – 11:00 am on the first and third Wednesdays (March 3rd, 17th, April 7th, and 21st).

    Join Donna Krug, Cottonwood District FCS Agent, and her helpers at the Activity Center (2715 18th St.) for these StoryWalk adventures. StoryWalks are books that will be displayed on white boards as children walk in the area surrounding the My BackYard Playground or inside the Activity Center. The goal of StoryWalk is to read and exercise together with your child. These StoryWalks are a free drop-in program that will be held between 10:00 – 11:30 am. This program targets pre-school age children with their parents or caregivers. Each date will be a different story. These walks will be held on: March 17th, April 21st, and May 19th.
