Donuts, Diapers and Developing Brains
Time: 9:00 AM - 9:45 AM CDT
Families that are prenatal or have infants are encouraged to join us June 4, 11, 18 and 25, 2019 to learn how reading to your new child helps develop their young brains. Come to one or all of the sessions. We will serve donuts for breakfast. We will be reading different books each week. At the end of each session we’ll send you home with diapers.

Kids Summer Peace Camp

Peace Camp is a day-camp for children 8 to 11. Peace camp offers children a unique experience of engaging with others and Earth. Campers and counselors share the message of peace: peace with self, peace with others and Earth. Just as CPR helps you assist an individual having a heart attack, Mental Health First Aid helps you assist someone experiencing a mental health or substance use-related crisis. In the Mental Health First Aid course, you learn risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations, and where to turn for help. http://bit.ly/2H9D2Cd
