CPR
The Great Bend Fire Department does not offer CPR training. Individuals interested in CPR training and becoming certified need to contact the American Red Cross. This website will provide information on how to properly provide CPR and classes and certification.
Blood Pressure Checks
The Great Bend Fire Department offers blood pressure checks to individuals with concerns. These are available to individuals that walk in to Station #1 or Station #2 Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. If firefighters are responding to an emergency and no one is in house at the time of the walk in individuals are more than welcome to wait for the firefighters to return or return at a later time.
First Aid
The Great Bend Fire Department does not offer First Aid training. Individuals interested in First Aid training need to contact the American Red Cross. This website will provide information on First Aid classes and certification.
